Best AI for realistic human video

The short answer

An early read after 2 of 20 briefs: Kling 4.0 and MiniMax H3 lead. Our blind panel liked their clips best, both did what the prompts asked, and both are among the cheapest at 10 to 11.25 credits a clip. Seedance 2.5 followed the camera brief best but scored low with our graders on looks, and it costs the most, at 35 credits. All seven kept the same person on screen, which we also checked automatically with face matching. The ranges are wide, so this can change as the other 18 briefs come in.

BiBi Scores, early read

From the first two briefs. Looks are the blind panel's grades for realism, motion, prompt following and consistency; reliability is whether the clip does what the brief asks, in order.

How sure are weMedium, small sample

Graders broadly agreed (average rank correlation 0.67), but this is 2 of 20 briefs, so the ranges are wide and most models still overlap with the leader. Treat this as an early read, not a verdict.

BiBi Score = looks 50% + reliability 20% + value 20%, rescaled to 100 (ease of use, the other 10%, is not scored while every model runs on the same platform). Looks: four graders scored every output 1–10 without seeing model names; each grader's scores are adjusted for how strict or generous they were, and the range shows where 90% of resamples of graders and briefs land. Reliability: our own pass/fail checks against the brief. Value: cost per usable output; the cheapest model gets 100 and every doubling of cost loses 30. How scoring works.

What we saw

Face match compares the person in each clip with the start frame, using a face-recognition model, frame by frame (café / street). 1.00 would be identical; the same person usually scores above 0.5 and different people below 0.3. Frames where the head is turned to the side are left out.

Talking to camera in a café, then a sip

PromptThe woman looks into the camera and talks warmly, as if telling a friend about her morning, with natural lip movement, blinking and small head movements. Then she lifts the cup, takes a small sip and smiles. Static camera, natural window light, realistic human motion.

Walking toward the camera on a wet night street

PromptThe man walks toward the camera at a relaxed pace along the wet street, his coat moving naturally, glances to his left at a shop, then looks ahead again. The camera tracks backward at the same pace. Rainy night, neon reflections on the pavement, realistic human motion.

How we tested

Both start frames come from our Reference Kit: synthetic people, not real ones, placed in kit locations. Every model received the same start frame and the identical prompt, at 16:9, 5 seconds, 720p where the model offers it (MiniMax H3 only renders at 2K on Higgsfield). All clips were made on Higgsfield on 31 Oct 2026.

Four people on our team graded all 14 clips blind, in a different order each, for realism, motion, prompt following and consistency. Scores are adjusted for each grader's strictness before averaging. MiniMax H3 rendered at 2K while the others ran at 720p, which may have helped it on looks.

Identity is also checked by machine: we sample 24 frames from each clip and compare the face with the start frame using ArcFace (InsightFace). Every model stayed above 0.33 on every front-facing frame, so none of them swapped the person. Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash drifted the furthest from the original face.

The full round adds 18 more briefs: close-ups, eating, hands, two people talking, and fast motion. Our full methodology.
